Launching Jupiter's Mobile Services Gateway at Gitex - Dubai 2005

In Gitex 2005, ASSET launched its Mobile Services Gateway, the latest addition to Jupiter Enterprise Suite.

Jupiter’s Mobile Services Gateway (m-SG) is designed to help organizations build Mobile applications and Services in few days; if not hours. It is not just SMS-based delivery of information; it allows users to request services and follow-up their requests through their mobile devices anytime and anywhere simply by having a GPRS connection. It fully leverages Jupiter business process management for automating the back office processes. Its integration capabilities –using Web Services, PLSQL and ODBC connections, allow for smooth interfacing with the organization’s legacy system.

Using a simple wizard-based GUI application, system administrators define and modify the services to be made available to their clients in only FOUR steps. They specify the information to be grabbed and/or delivered to the mobile user, the authentication required, processes to be invoked and the interfaces with legacy applications. Then with a click of a button, Jupiter automatically generates the required mobile application/eService without having to write any code. Mobile users are able to browse the generated applications directly after deployment without installing any client software on the mobile device.

During Gitex, ASSET also focused on presenting sample business cases for solutions implemented for many of our reputable customers in the different industries in the Middle East region. This made it easier for decision makers to visualize how Jupiter can practically and effectively serve their organization while ensuring ease of use and fast implementation.
